Kudos to Prof. Ramota, new DSS Chair!
Congratulations to Prof. Carl Marc Ramota for being chosen as new Chairperson of the Department of Social Sciences, effective 01 July, 2010.
Professor Ramota is a graduate of the Department's own BA Political Science degree program. He has finished his MA Political Science (major in Global Politics) from Ateneo de Manila University.

Dean's Forum on June 26: Sharing lessons and experiences from the practicum and the fieldwork
We are pleased to invite you to the Dean’s Forum for June with the theme Sharing lessons and experiences from the practicum and the fieldwork on Friday, June 26, at 3 pm at the CAS Alumni Conference Room.
Professor Roland Simbulan, faculty of the Department of Social Sciences and the Development Studies program, shall talk about the lessons learned from and by the student practicumers of the same program.

Dev Stud Practicum Exhibit
Everyone is invited to join the Development Studies Practicum Exhibit from June 22 to 26 at the LT Walk and the Daluyong Development Studies Practicum Conference on June 26, Friday, at the Little Theater, from 9 am to 4 pm.
The practicum conference features eight video documentaries on the experience of organizing and immersion of Dev Stud practicumers in 8 provinces in Luzon. The videos showcase various activities including sabayang bigkas, tanghal-tula, and others.
