College Fund-Raising Drive for Victims of Tropical Storm “Ondoy”

The Chancellor has met all the colleges for a response to the calamity. It has been agreed upon that a Unified Fund Drive with a target of ONE MILLION PESOS be raised for badly affected constituents.

As one of the colleges of the University, we have a target of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS as contribution to the unified fund.

In this line, I would like to encourage all faculty members and administrative staff to donate whatever amount they could. Faculty members and student organizations may also initiate fund-raising projects, proceeds of which maybe forwarded to the said fund.

Ms Juvy Macapagal, CAS Student Council Chairperson will be coordinating the student activities. Professor Gina Salazar will coordinate faculty while Dr, Jocelyn del Mundo will coordinate faculty and administrative efforts, respectively.

The time frame for the cash donation drive is September 30 to October 14, 2009. Attached is the appeal for cash donations from the Office of the Chancellor.
