DPSM Lecture Series: Dr. Rey Garcia on “New Technologies on Diagnostics”
The Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics is inviting everyone to a lecture on “New Technologies on Diagnostics” on August 9, 2010 with Dr. Rey Garcia as resource speaker.
Dr. Garcia is a biotech consultant working on extramural projects of big pharmaceutical companies, and a Balik-Scientist Awardee.
The lecture will be held 1 pm at the NTTC-HP Auditorium, Old Neda Building.

DPSM Science Week 2010 "The Role of the Sciences in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation"
The Department of Physical Sciences and Mathematics will celebrate its Science Week 2010 this year on January 25 - 29, 2010 with the theme "The Role of the Sciences in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation".
The activities line up for the Science Week 2010 celebration are:

- 1 - 5 pm Science/Math Exhibit, Film Showing
- January 26 (Tuesday)
- 9 - 12 am Science Symposium
- 1 - 5 pm Film Showing
- January 27 (Wednesday)
- 8 - 12 am Interblock Qwizzardy
- 1 - 5 pm Film Showing
- January 28 (Thursday)
- 8 - 12 am High School Qwizzardy
- 1 - 5 pm College Qwizzardy
